Vynce is a college-exclusive nightlife and events app. It lets verified .edu students find parties, bars, campus events, and more — all in real time. You can see where your friends are going, check live crowd conditions before you leave, get FOMO notifications when things pop off, and discover the best deals near your campus.

Vynce is exclusively for enrolled college students. You must sign up with a valid .edu email address from an accredited university. Your email is verified before you can access the app.

Download Vynce, tap Partier on the welcome screen, enter your .edu email address, verify the 6-digit code we send you, set up your profile, and you are in. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.

Make sure you are entering your full university email address including the .edu domain. Some universities use variations like .edu.au or a custom domain — if your email ends in .edu and is still not accepted, email us at vynceheadquaters@gmail.com and we will manually verify your student status.

Your Feed automatically shows events from organizations you follow plus trending events at your campus. You can also browse the Live Campus Heat Map to see every active event glowing in real time, or use the Calendar to plan ahead by month.

Tap any event card and hit I'm Going. This adds you to the going count, makes the event visible on the friends layer for your crew, and adds it to your profile under upcoming events. For paid events, tapping Get Tickets takes you through the checkout flow.

If your feed is empty, it usually means you haven't followed any organizations yet. Head to the Explore tab, find orgs at your campus, and follow them. Their events will appear in your feed immediately. You can also check the Heat Map for events happening near you right now.

By default your feed shows events at your verified campus. Use the Discovery radius in Settings to widen how far out you see bar and venue events from your location.

Event cards show cost, entry requirements, and deal tags directly on the card. You can filter your feed by Free Only using the filter bar at the top of the Feed.

The Crowd Meter is a live crowd-sourced reporting system. Partiers who are at or near a venue can submit a report — Dead, Picking Up, Packed, Line Too Long, Worth It, or Not Worth It. These reports generate a live Crowd Score out of 100 that updates every 15 minutes so you know exactly what is happening before you go.

Tap Report Crowd on any active event card or from the Heat Map marker. Select your status, add an optional note, and hit Send. You can submit one report per venue every 20 minutes.

You already submitted a crowd report for that venue in the last 20 minutes. The button shows a countdown timer. This cooldown keeps the scores accurate and prevents spam.

Go to your Profile, tap the Friends tab, and search for friends by name or username. Tap Add Friend to send a request. You can also find suggested friends based on mutual connections and shared events.

Friends can see which events you have RSVPed to. This helps your crew coordinate plans and find each other on a night out.

Tap Get Tickets on any paid event card or event detail page. Select your ticket tier and quantity, review the order summary, and pay. Your digital ticket with a QR code is stored in My Tickets on your profile.

Vynce charges a small service fee of 1.9% + $0.10 per ticket, with a minimum of $0.25 and a maximum of $5.00 per ticket. This fee is shown as a separate line item before you confirm payment — it is never hidden.

Refunds depend on the organizer's refund policy, shown on the event detail page before you purchase. If the event is canceled by the organizer, you receive a full refund including the service fee automatically. The service fee is non-refundable for all other refund requests.

Go to your profile and tap the Tickets tab. All your upcoming and past tickets are stored there with QR codes for entry.

Check that your card details are correct and your billing address matches what your bank has on file. If the issue continues, try a different payment method or email us at vynceheadquaters@gmail.com with your order details.

FOMO Notifications are real-time alerts that fire when something worth knowing happens near you — a venue surges in crowd score, a deal drops, your friends check into an event, or a trending event hits peak energy. They feel like a text from a friend who is already out, not a marketing email.

Go to Settings and use the notification toggles to enable or disable each category individually — Event Reminders, New Messages, Venue Announcements, and Promotions & Marketing.

In Settings, turn off Promotions & Marketing and Venue Announcements first — these are the highest volume. You can keep Event Reminders and New Messages on so you never miss plans with your crew.

Go to your profile and tap Edit next to your name. Usernames must be unique — if your chosen username is taken, you will see an indicator in real time as you type.

Go to Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom, and tap Delete My Account. This permanently deletes your profile, RSVP history, friends list, tickets, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
